The Tarragona Dixieland Festival is one of the few festivals in Spain dedicated to dixieland music, the origin of jazz, a style that emerged in New Orleans as popular music in the late 19th century. It features concerts and activities held annually in various venues: theaters, cafés, restaurants, and also in open-air spaces.
