Cruise Tourism for a Better Future
By supporting local businesses, fostering education, and preserving cultural heritage, we ensure that the benefits of cruise tourism reach beyond the present, leaving a valuable legacy for future generations. Believing in the power of collaboration and responsible practices, we work with our partners to shape a future where cruise tourism enriches lives, supports communities, and protects the environment.
Tarragona Cruise Port is proud to be part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower programme, helping us provide a more accessible and inclusive experience for all guests. The Sunflower symbol allows people with non-visible disabilities, conditions or chronic illnesses to discreetly indicate that they may need additional time, understanding or support. Our team has received dedicated training to recognise the Sunflower and assist guests throughout their port experience. Learn more about the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower at https://hdsunflower.com
At Tarragona Cruise Port, we are committed to the well-being of seafarers. That’s why we offer crew members arriving at our terminal access to a local Stella Maris office. This service, part of the Apostleship of the Sea, represents a valuable humanitarian commitment, providing practical, emotional, and spiritual support to those working at sea.
At Tarragona Cruise Port, we firmly believe in supporting the development of our local community. That is why, since 2025, we have launched educational programs to introduce students of all ages to the world of cruises and the port terminal. These visits allow young people to gain firsthand knowledge of the processes and professions related to the industry, helping them discover their future vocations. For us, promoting these experiences is a way to contribute to the personal and professional growth of new generations.
