Tarragona Cruise Port offers new high quality experiences across the destination.
PortAventura World has announced major new developments for the 2026 season, reinforcing its position as one of Europe’s leading leisure destinations. The resort will introduce two new family attractions and open the first Hard Rock Cafe located within a theme park resort in Europe.
Presented during FITUR 2026, the new attractions are “Coral Bay, The Lost Legend” at Caribe Aquatic Park and “Makamanu Jungle, The Adventure Trek” in the Polynesia area of PortAventura Park. Both are scheduled to open this summer.
“Coral Bay, The Lost Legend” is a new 6,000 m² themed area inspired by a pirate bay emerging from the ocean depths. The expansion will feature a family water coaster unique in Europe, an adventure pool with a world-exclusive aquatic obstacle course, new slides, and additional food and beverage facilities.
Meanwhile, “Makamanu Jungle, The Adventure Trek” will offer an immersive outdoor adventure experience with hanging bridges, hidden pathways, and nature-inspired challenges designed for families and young explorers.
In addition, PortAventura World has partnered with Hard Rock International to open Hard Rock Cafe PortAventura at the entrance of PortAventura Park. The venue will have capacity for approximately 430 guests and will offer live music, full table service, and Hard Rock’s iconic menu and music memorabilia.
Accessible to the general public without park admission, the restaurant will also feature a Rock Shop with exclusive merchandise developed together with PortAventura World.
These additions aim to strengthen the Costa Daurada’s international tourism appeal and support year-round visitation through immersive experiences and global partnerships.
